Reminder: Time to apply for grants, scholarships and Youth Tour

Applications for community and school grants, scholarships and the summer Washington Youth Tour are available online at diversepower.com or dpfi.org.
High school seniors are invited to apply for the Walter Harrison Scholarship, a statewide program that annually awards $1,000 college scholarships to high school seniors. Winners will be announced in spring 2020.
Diverse Power Foundation grants go to area schools for innovative classroom programs and to community nonprofits for charitable initiatives. Foundation scholarships are awarded to high school seniors who plan to attend technical, two year or four-year colleges. Grant and scholarship applications are available at dpfi.org and due Jan. 17, 2020. Send applications to Diverse Power Foundation, Attn: Lisa Booth, P.O. Box 160, LaGrange, GA 30241. Winners will be announced March 28, 2020.
High school students interested in serving as delegates on the June 2020 Washington Youth Tour may apply for this weeklong, all-expenses-paid leadership tour of the nation’s capital. Applications are available at diversepower.com and due Jan. 24, 2020, to Diverse Power, Attn: Ken Pope, P.O. Box 160, LaGrange, GA 30241. Winning delegates will be announced in spring 2020.
