Sausage Cheese Balls

- 1 pound extra sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 pound sausage
- 2 1/2 cups baking mix, such as Bisquick
Mix all ingredients well. Form into small balls and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until browned.
Note: Be sure to shred your own cheese rather than using pre-shredded cheese; this makes a big difference in the taste and texture of sausage balls. According to taste, use mild, medium or hot sausage.
