Are you interested in an all-expenses-paid couples or youth conference to learn more about cooperatives, plus have some relaxing and fun downtime too?

Young couples from the Diverse Power service area can take advantage of a weekend away Aug. 9-11, 2019, at the Georgia Cooperative Council Couples Conference at The Ridges Resort in Hiawassee, Ga. The multistate conference is an opportunity to meet new people and create new friendships while learning about the various cooperatives that operate in their everyday lives. Couples in attendance are sponsored by members of the participating state co-op councils.

From July 15-19, 2019, high school students can have some outdoor fun and learn about cooperatives at the Georgia Cooperative Council Youth Leadership Conference at the Georgia FFA/FCCLA Center in Covington, Ga. The purpose of the five-day conference is to build and enhance teen leadership skills and for participants to learn the role cooperatives play in the communities they serve. The leadership event is also designed to promote teamwork through a series of exercises, training and presentations.
